JUSTICE DEPARTMENT DECIDES TO REVIVE CIVIL RIGHTS INVESTIGATION REGARDING GEORGE FLOYD’S DEATH

A new grand jury was created by the U.S. Department of Justice to handle its civil rights investigation into former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. President Joe Biden revived this investigation, which died down after its initial launch. The Justice Department aims to determine if the civil rights of Floyd were violated when Chauvin kneeled on his neck.
