“Loose Change” video is theatrical for sure

Amidst all the amazing music we have been blessed with in recent times, The Alchemist’s This Thing Of Ours EP, which came out last year, is definitely among the best. Featuring eight tracks and four original cuts with matching instrumentals, it stole our hearts. Last weekend, the producer also released a video from the same project for the track titled “Loose Change,” which was a collaboration with Earl Sweatshirt wherein the Odd Future alum can be seen amidst a stream of consciousness.

The video is directed by Lonewolf, and showcases Sweatshirt entering a theater, which is where he apparently has a sold-out show. After he performs “Loose Change” on stage, he looks at the crowd to see that there is no one but mannequins, barring Alchemist, who is standing in the middle and applauding. Then, Sweatshirt goes away from the place just like he entered, holding a blunt.

It was threewhole years ago that Sweatshirt launched his previous full-length album called Some Rap Songs, featuring 15 tracks from Standing On The Corner, Navy Blue, and the late poet-activist Keorapetse Kgositsile. After that, he also released EP Feet of Clay, while contributing to others’ tracks.

Do check out The Alchemist and Earl Sweatshirt’s “Loose Change.”
